The free app called “Own Voice” allows you the ability to record your own voice as a replacement to the standard travel narrator on Ovi Maps. When finished, just save the new voice pack and you can start using it right away.

Free Ovi Maps App For Nokia Phones

Hello there!

Now, it’s a Free Time Again! Nokia already announced The Ovi Maps -free turn-by-turn voice navigation for all its GPS-enabled smartphones globally, starting with 10 models only. It’s now available in the U.S. The Ovi Maps app, with turn-by-turn directions for 74 countries in 46 languages.

Nokia’s Ovi Maps can operate completely offline, as the maps are stored on the device. I think it’s better from Google Maps. It’s easy & simple to use. Please watch this cool Ovi Maps Demo:
