Snooper’s matchbox-size tracking device has a GPS receiver and a Sim card. Call the Sim and you get a text giving its co-ordinates, plus a link (which you can put into any browser) to a partner website that shows a map giving the unit’s location. Or if you have a smartphone you can hit the link direct.
The unit can automatically send texts at intervals, and if it cannot fix to a satellite, it gives its last known position. Portability is key — you can hide the Snooper in cars, caravans, boats or even have someone carry it around for their personal safety. The rechargeable battery will work for three days.
