My Travel Clock

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

I realized that I had no idea where I was, when I got to where I was going for an overnight trip, but that I luckily had my travel clock with me. No doubt of the fact that if any kind of lag in sleep, or even just a need for knowledge of the proper time, that the travel clock I kept would serve me well through night and day. It would all allow me to keep up with the next day’s set appointment that I had to make sure was a done deal, or else I would not be able to get that promotion that needed, which would give me that pay raise that I could sorely use as my car was in need of repair and up-keeping.

When I got to the hotel that company had booked for me, I was ready for the night to quickly fade away, and sleep to overcome me as I lay there reading my book. It seemed that the night would go by fine, and that I would have no worries about waking too late for my appointment because I had me trusty travel clock with an optional alarm, which was digital and occasionally needed the battery to be changed. However, there are many different varieties to the travel clock, why some could even argue that a simple watch that you could take everywhere could be utilized as an alarm clock as well.

When I woke the next morning, I knew exactly how much time I had before my appointment needed to be reached, so I went out and enjoyed a coffee at this local café, and before I knew it the appointment came and went with positive results. As I sat in my hotel room packing up my stuff, I realized that thanks to my travel clock, and I was able to keep my job running smoothly and on the most precise time possible. Bye.

Me And My Digital Clock

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

Hello there. This is my first time i’m posting in this blog. Actually, i am new with wordpress theme and still try error . Ok back to my topic. I have had a digital clock in my room for as long as I can really remember.  When I was a kid, I was in charge of my own wake-up calls.  I quickly learned how to use that thing properly.

When I was a young adult, I had an alarm clock to wake up for work.  Sometimes it was set for 2PM, but it was still set for a wake-up call.  The funny thing was that a digital clock is always the very first thing I need after I move.

I moved a lot of times during my twenties.  I would usually end up buying a new digital clock at the all-night drugstore the day of the move.  I had to do that because I never seemed to have the foresight to pack it in a reasonable place.

I still have a digital clock in my bedroom.  It is equipped with an alarm, but I don’t think I’ve needed it in several years.  My kids have a digital clock in their bedroom to wake them up for school.

I don’t have to set my digital clock to get them ready or to feed them breakfast during the school year.  My kids are old enough to dress themselves and walk to school.  The school that they attend feeds every kid in the school free breakfast in their classrooms.

I can’t really sleep without a digital clock in my room, even though I do not use it for its alarm capabilities.  I just have some burning need to know what time it is about every hour or so all night long.  I’ve always been like this.

My son is pretty good with his digital clock.  He’s only overslept three times as a result of either not setting it or ignoring it.  He was pretty upset each of those times.  He hates to be late.  My daughter could actually care less if she is late. Ok that it’s for day. Bye!
